This brings to mind the garden of eden! Thoughts of labor and baby-making connected to knowledge and fruit of tree knowledge ... Was any of this on your (even sub-concious) mind?
These apples were formed in an extremely intuitive state as a reaction to the topic of "mother." It is amazing what the concious reveals of the collective unconcious. There is no work of mine on the topic of mother and woman that does not reveal some reflection on the collective state. Such is the magnificence of art.
